After email verification, the user writes a two-sentence self-introduction — encouraged to try Yoruba but English is accepted. They select their areas of interest from the five category options.
User is directed to the category most aligned with their interest. They browse existing threads. A pinned "Ẹ̀kún Àbọ̀" (Welcome Thread) invites all new members to introduce themselves.
User replies to the Welcome Thread or posts a question in Language Learning. The act of posting in — or even attempting — Yoruba is the platform's core activation event. Community members respond warmly.
